• Ensure the organisation has good corporate governance and sound business practices
  • Evaluate oncourse amenities and racecourse facilities
  • Advise on non-raceday activities
  • Develop marketing strategies and opportunities to promote race-meetings, and advise on national and international market trends
  • Identify strategic sponsorship opportunities and promotional activities
  • Advice on maintaining positive Government, and Government departmental liaison
  • Develop strategic direction i.e. implementing key measures for improved profitability and future progression
  • Ensure staff team building, moral, development, and competencies
